Page 93 No mukti after death- Sri Raag Beni ji- ਥਾਕਾ ਤੇਜੁ ਉਡਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਪੰਖੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਂਗਨਿ ਨ ਸੁਖਾਈ ॥ Your light has gone out, and the bird of your mind has flown away; you are no longer welcome in your own home and courtyard. ਬੇਣੀ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਰੇ ਭਗਤਹੁ ਮਰਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਿਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੫॥ Says Baynee, listen, O devotee: who has ever attained liberation after such a death? ||5|| Page 106 Sign of Mukti- Majh Mahala 5- ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲਣੈ ਕੀ ਏਹ ਨੀਸਾਣੀ ॥ This is the sign of union with God: ਮਨਿ ਇਕੋ ਸਚਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੀ ॥ in the mind, the Command of the True Lord is recognized. ਸਹਜਿ ਸੰਤੋਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ ਅਨਦੁ ਖਸਮ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ Intuitive peace and poise, contentment, enduring satisfaction and bliss come through the Pleasure of the Master's Will. ||3|| Page 184 Naam gives mukti- Gauri Mahala 5- ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ Such is the True Guru, the Great Giver. ||1|| ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਇਆ ਜਾਗਾ ॥ Asleep for so many incarnations, it is now awakened. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ I chant the Ambrosial Bani, the Glorious Praises of God. ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ The Pure Teachings of the Perfect Guru have been revealed to me. ||1|| Page 205 Mukti in an instant- Gauri Mahala 5- ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥ This is how my Sovereign Lord King, the Lord of the Universe, is met, ਸਹਜੁ ਭਇਆ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਠਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੧॥੧੨੨॥ Celestial bliss is attained in an instant, and doubt is dispelled. Meeting Him, my light merges in the Light. ||1||Second Pause||1||122|| Page 219 Nirvana- Gauri Mahala 9- ਉਸਤਤਿ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਦੋਊ ਤਿਆਗੈ ਖੋਜੈ ਪਦੁ ਨਿਰਬਾਨਾ ॥ Renounce both praise and blame; seek instead the state of Nirvana. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹੁ ਖੇਲੁ ਕਠਨੁ ਹੈ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਨਾ ॥੨॥੧॥ O servant Nanak! This is such a difficult game; only a few Gurmukhs understand it! ||2||1|| Page 414 Permanent- Asa Mahala 1- ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਮਹਿ ਆਕਾਰੁ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥ One who merges his form into the Formless Lord, ਅਕਲ ਕਲਾ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਚਿ ਟਿਕਾਵੈ ॥ abides in the True Lord, the Powerful, beyond power. ਸੋ ਨਰੁ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨਿ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ॥੪॥ Such a person does not enter into the womb of reincarnation again. ||4|| Page 522 Mukti in family life- Gujri Mahala 5- ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਐ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥ O Nanak, meeting the True Guru, one comes to know the Perfect Way. ਹਸੰਦਿਆ ਖੇਲੰਦਿਆ ਪੈਨੰਦਿਆ ਖਾਵੰਦਿਆ ਵਿਚੇ ਹੋਵੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ॥੨॥ While laughing, playing, dressing and eating, he is liberated. ||2|| Page 657 Experience- Sorath Naamdayv ji- ਜਹ ਝਿਲਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਾਰੁ ਦਿਸੰਤਾ ॥ Where the dazzling white light is seen, ਤਹ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਬਜੰਤਾ ॥ There the unstruck sound current of the Shabad resounds. ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਨੀ ॥ One's light merges in the Light; ਮੈ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੨॥ By Guru's Grace, I know this. ||2|| Page 844 Only humans get mukti- Bilaval Mahala 4- ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਵਣ ਵੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ The Lord is found only through this human incarnation. This is the time to contemplate the Lord. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲੁ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਰੰਗੁ ਹੋਇ ਘਣੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ As Gurmukhs, the happy soul-brides meet Him, and their love for Him is abundant. ਜਿਨ ਮਾਣਸ ਜਨਮਿ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਭਾਗੁ ਮੰਦੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥ Those who have not attained human incarnation, are cursed by evil destiny. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥ O Lord, God, Har, Har, Har, Har, save Nanak; he is Your humble servant. ||3|| Page 974 Experience- Ramkali Beni ji- ਦੇਵ ਸਥਾਨੈ ਕਿਆ ਨੀਸਾਣੀ ॥ What is the insignia of the Divine Lord's dwelling? ਤਹ ਬਾਜੇ ਸਬਦ ਅਨਾਹਦ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ The unstruck sound current of the Shabad vibrates there. ਤਹ ਚੰਦੁ ਨ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਪਉਣੁ ਨ ਪਾਣੀ ॥ There is no moon or sun, no air or water there. ਸਾਖੀ ਜਾਗੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣੀ ॥੨॥ The Gurmukh becomes aware, and knows the Teachings. ||2|| Page 1104 Permanent- Maroo Kabeer ji- ਕਹੈ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਰੇ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਖੇਤ ਹੀ ਕਰਹੁ ਨਿਬੇਰਾ ॥ Says Kabeer, listen, O Saints: settle your accounts in this farm. ਅਬ ਕੀ ਬਾਰ ਬਖਸਿ ਬੰਦੇ ਕਉ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਭਉਜਲਿ ਫੇਰਾ ॥੩॥੭॥ O Lord, please forgive Your slave now, in this life, so that he may not have to return again to this terrifying world-ocean. ||3||7|| Page 1302 Experience- Kaanrhaa Mahala 5- ਬਿਸਮ ਬਿਸਮ ਬਿਸਮ ਹੀ ਭਈ ਹੈ ਲਾਲ ਗੁਲਾਲ ਰੰਗਾਰੈ ॥ I am wonder-struck, wonder-struck, wonder-struck and amazed, dyed in the deep crimson color of my Beloved. ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਨ ਰਸੁ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਉ ਚਾਖਿ ਗੂੰਗਾ ਮੁਸਕਾਰੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੨੦॥ Says Nanak, the Saints savor this sublime essence, like the mute, who tastes the sweet candy, but only smiles. ||2||1||20||
